Backing up replication metadata
Replication metadata lies inside the system tables of both source and target databases.
By default, the solidDB Data Dictionary (soldd) utility extracts all partition definitions (that is. everything that is created by CREATE REPLICATION PARTITION and other commands) to an executable script as part of soldd.output.
For source database definitions that reside inside the target database, the soldd option -replsources creates a set of admin commands to create the corresponding source databases.
soldd must be executed separately for all the databases that participate in replication.
For more information about soldd, see solidDB Data Dictionary (soldd).
