Installing IBM InfoSphere CDC replication components
To deploy IBM InfoSphere CDC replication between solidDB® servers, you need to install the solidDB® servers and the related IBM InfoSphere CDC components.
The following provides a high-level overview of the installation, with references to more detailed installation instructions.
1 Install solidDB®. For instructions, see “Installing solidDB®” in the Getting Started Guide.
2 Install IBM InfoSphere CDC for solidDB®. For details, see Installing IBM InfoSphere CDC.
Note At the end of the installation, the installer enables you to start the Configuration Tool for creating a new IBM InfoSphere CDC instance. Do not select to start the configuration tool unless you have completed the solidDB® configuration steps as instructed in Configuring solidDB® for IBM InfoSphere CDC replication.
3 Install IBM InfoSphere CDC Access Server.
For instructions, see the IBM InfoSphere Change Data Capture Access Server and Management Console, Installation Guide.
4 Install IBM InfoSphere CDC Management Console.
For instructions, see the IBM InfoSphere Change Data Capture Access Server and Management Console, Installation Guide.
5 Check that you can access the documentation listed in the table below.
