Replication with IBM Infosphere CDC

IBM InfoSphere CDC Replication can be used for replicating data between any pair of solidDB® server instances. For example, it enables geographic redundancy, or allows two solidDB® instances to be configured in an active/active setup whereby two copies of the same data can be equally processed at either side.
This guide provides an overview of the IBM InfoSphere CDC Replication solution as well as instructions for installing and configuring the IBM InfoSphere CDC Replication system. Guidelines for handling failure and troubleshooting scenarios are also included. Installing IBM InfoSphere CDC replication components describes how to install and configure the IBM InfoSphere CDC for solidDB® component. This section is needed when configuring the IBM InfoSphere CDC Replication system; it provides comparable information to the IBM InfoSphere Change Data Capture, End-User Documentation user manuals for other data servers.
This manual assumes that the reader has general DBMS knowledge, and familiarity with SQL and solidDB®.
IBM InfoSphere CDC is an IBM product.
