The data aging feature enables applications to remove unnecessary data from one solidDB^® database in a IBM InfoSphere CDC replication configuration while preserving it in another.

The data aging feature is described in “Data aging” in the solidDB^® Universal Cache User Guide. The instructions describing data aging with Universal Cache apply to IBM InfoSphere CDC replication configurations as well, except that in IBM InfoSphere CDC replication configurations, both the frontend and backend data servers are solidDB^® databases.
