ArchiMate principle
A principle represents a qualitative statement of intent that should be met by the architecture. Principles are similar to requirements in that they define intended properties of systems, but they are broader in scope and more abstract than requirements.
Example:
“Information management processes comply with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations”.
