OV-06b State Transition diagrams are used to describe a sequence of activities for an object; for example, how it transitions from one Activity to another Activity.
You can draw the following symbols on the diagram:
•Activity: Represented by a circle. Contained Activities denote States and therefore define what is being performed at that point in time. These are now nested, as an alternative to creating a child diagram to explain that Activity and filling in the Activity reference from the diagram.
•Transition (ActivityResourceOverlap): Directional transitions between states (Activities) with an optional list of stimuli (Rule). Rules can be referenced from ActivityResourceOverlap.
