Decision charts in enterprise architecture modeling
The decision chart provides a high level view of the standard ways in which your organization approaches problem solving between or within Organizational Units. The decision chart models how the business makes its decisions and what impact this has on other teams.
The Decision Chart’s two basic symbols are the Unit and the Branch. The Unit is the place where you store information about the work groups for whom the model is drawn. The Branch connects the Units involved.
Decision Charts can reflect centralized decision making, decentralized decision making, or autonomous decision making.
