Results
Process Threads generate Results.
External Result
Has effects which reach outside a business area to its environment. These effects could reach to customers suppliers or others outside the enterprise. Examples include letters, statements, and payments.
Internal Result
Might go outside the process thread but will remain within the business area. In some cases, internal results can become the events which trigger other process threads.
Primary Result
The main response that a process thread has to an event. The Primary Result is needed to make all other results meaningful. For example, a Primary Result such as Customer Room Reserved gives meaning to other results such as Customer Honors Reservation and Hotel Bills Customer.
Secondary Result
Any result that is not the Primary Result of a Process Thread.
