TOGAF
Using the TOGAF modeling feature in System Architect, you can model the eight phases of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Architecture Development Method (ADM), and multiple steps of each phase, to design and deliver the Enterprise Architecture for your organization.
A TOGAF Enterprise Framework Browser enables you to navigate the phases and steps of TOGAF 10, and input information into the repository for each stage. To model the enterprise using TOGAF ADM, you bring to bear all of System Architect’s support for modeling the enterprise, including repository-based business modeling, UML, and data modeling. In addition, the following TOGAF-specific support is provided:
Core diagram types.
Explorer diagrams with specific Explorer Object Reports, Explorer Relationship Reports, and Analytic collections accessed through the Heat Map Manager with each particular Explorer diagram type open to present Viewpoints of TOGAF.
Core definition types.
Simple and multidimensional matrices.
Reports.
