Definitions
Turning on the TOGAF Framework enables you to build an Enterprise Architecture using definitions of the TOGAF 10 Content Metamodel.
Note TOGAF 10 eliminates the “Extensions” that prior versions of TOGAF specified – enabling users to turn on/off layers of the metamodel for Data, Governance, Infrastructure Consolidation, Motivation, Process Modeling, and Services.
System Architect applies all of these extensions automatically when you select the TOGAF framework – providing the entirety of the metamodel above.
You can still, if you want, turn off/on these extensions by selecting Tools > Customize Method Support > Encyclopedia Configuration, and then in the System Architect Property Configuration dialog, click the Advanced button.
