A Solution Concept Diagram provides a high-level viewpoint of the solution that is envisaged to meet the objectives of a particular part of the Enterprise Architecture.
According to the TOGAF literature, the Solution Concept diagram is considered to represent a “pencil sketch” of the expected solution at the outset of an engagement.
System Architect provides a Solution Concept diagram that is non-data centric and free flowing. You can draw relationships between symbols – but those relationships do not automatically visualize if you draw the same items on another Solution Concept diagram. You can also draw relationship lines into space.
