System Architect provides IBM Rational DOORS filters that let you show or hide objects based on their status, as it relates to IBM Rational DOORS. By default, the filter displays all IBM Rational DOORS objects. This filter is available in addition to the Access Control filters.
Since only one filter can be active at any one time, changing the qualifications of one filter overrides the qualifications set in another. You can use the Reset Filters option from the Explorer to reset all filters to their default values.
To set the IBM Rational DOORS status filters
1 Right-click on the System Architect Explorer, and select DOORS Filters. IBM Rational DOORS enabled objects can have any of the statuses shown in the Set Doors Filters dialog below:
2 Toggle the filters you want to apply. The dialog shows the objects to be viewed as a result of the filters you have chosen.
3 Click Set filter. The Explorer displays only those objects you chose through the filter and a description of the filters currently in effect. Those objects which have been sent to IBM Rational DOORS display a closed door icon, and those objects that are to be sent display an arrow and a partially open door.
Note If an object has already been sent to IBM Rational DOORS, but you have marked it “to be sent” to again, these objects appear in the Explorer with a partially closed door icon.
To reset all filters to their default values, right-click the System Architect Explorer and then click Reset Filters. This function is only enabled if you have made changes to the Access Control filters or the IBM Rational DOORS filters.
