Finding an object in System Architect from IBM Rational DOORS
You can find and open a System Architect object from IBM Rational DOORS. System Architect must be running and the encyclopedia containing the object opened.
To find and open a object in System Architect from IBM Rational DOORS
1 From the IBM Rational DOORS formal module window, select the object you want to edit in System Architect.
2 From the top menu in IBM Rational DOORS, select SA, Open Item in System Architect. The System Architect edit dialog is opened for the object you select. (You can also right-click the item, and then click Open Item in System Architect.)
Note If you select the Open Item in System Architect option for an object that has been deleted in System Architect, the procedure might take a long time, only to return an “object not found” message. To avoid this, you should run the Update in Doors option from System Architect whenever you delete objects that you send to IBM Rational DOORS.
