Setting up the System Architect DOORS interface
Note The System Architect DOORS link works with IBM Rational DOORS 9.0 to 9.7.
You can port System Architect modeling artifacts into IBM Rational DOORS so that they are viewable and so that traceability links can be created between them and IBM Rational DOORS objects. All linking of System Architect model artifacts to IBM Rational DOORS objects is done in IBM Rational DOORS, not System Architect.
You can port instances of a symbol, a definition, or a diagram into IBM Rational DOORS. This includes line symbols.
All System Architect model artifacts are able to be brought to IBM Rational DOORS by default.
Note In System Architect DOORS interface 1, it was necessary to modify the System Architect encyclopedia metamodel, specifying what model artifacts could be brought over to IBM Rational DOORS through a IBM Rational DOORS command. In System Architect DOORS interface 2.4, this is no longer necessary. Any System Architect artifact types, which include all diagram types, all definition types, and all symbol types, can be brought into IBM Rational DOORS.
