Using existing definitions from the Add Selected Definition to Diagram page automatically draws a symbol on the canvas that is appropriate to the definition you select. For example, if you select Process definition, a Process symbol is drawn on the diagram.
1 Right‑click the diagram canvas, and then click Add Existing Definition.
The Add Selected Definition to Diagram page is displayed, listing all definitions that are appropriate for the symbols that can be drawn on the diagram in which you are working. If more definitions are found than can be displayed on the grid, click the numbers at the lower right to see the remaining definitions.
2 Optionally, type a name in the text field and click Filter. Only definitions with the string you entered are listed. To sort the definitions grid, clicking Name or TypeName in the grid header.
3 Select the definition you want to reuse, and then click Add. A symbol for the definition you selected is drawn on the diagram canvas.
