Architecture framework support
The Integrated Architecture Framework is used to structure and define the architecture content:
It provides a model for architecture development and usage.
It describes the format and content of elements of the architecture.
It specifies how these elements relate to each other.
The IAF configuration and facilities are installed in an encyclopedia by using the Load metamodel menu entry.
The IAF has also been implemented in System Architect as a framework that is accessed through the File > Show Framework, menu. To make this the default framework, see the setting up the framework for use instructions in the System Architect help files.
A Capgemini Integrated Architecture tab that holds the IAF artifacts is also available in the System Architect explorer.
