The Motivation viewpoint of UAF involves architecture drivers, challenges, opportunities, capabilities that address opportunities, phases and architectures that address challenges; and then also requirements, their relationship (through traceability) to more detailed requirements and the solution described by the architecture that will meet those requirements.
