Editing or adding global report information
You can use any text editor, such as Microsoft Notepad to change the information in the global definition block of a Report Definition file.
The information in the global definition block cannot be edited in either the Report Editor or the Text Editor.
1 Open the report definition (.rpt) file in the text editor.
2 Change the DEFINE, FIELD, FONT, SETTING, or REM commands as required.
Any commands entered here apply to every report in the file.
Your changes must match the expected syntax. If the syntax or order of commands is not correct, you cannot able to run any reports in the Report Definition file.
3 Click File > Save, and then close the text editor.
