Publish information as HTML with System Architect Publisher
This tutorial shows how to publish information in the encyclopedia as HTML using the System Architect Publisher.
Learning objectives
This tutorial contains eight lessons, which show you how to do the following things:
Design the overall website hierarchy and get an overall picture of what information to present in the finished website. You can decide what information will be on the home page, what reports to run to get information relevant to different viewers of the website.
Create a list of the reports that you will run to generate the website.
Create the reports using System Architect's reporting system graphical user interface, if these reports do not exist already (a base set of reports are provided with SA Publisher).
Modify the reports for use with SA Publisher.
Specify the starting report(s) for the website generation template.
Specify default reports to run for every type of diagram, symbol, and definition encountered during the generation process. A type of diagram, for example, is a Use Case diagram, or a Physical Data Model, and so on. A type of symbol is an actor symbol or a Use Case symbol, and so on. A type of definition is a class definition or a Use Case definition, and so on.
Specify alternative reports to run for specific types. For example, every time the publisher encounters an entity it can generate a data model report for that entity. If that entity is encountered while generating a business report for corporate management, you can run a different data modeling report, one that only gives high-level details.
Set up the generation options of the report.
