Generating OV-5 activity model diagrams from an existing OV-5 node tree diagram
This utility is used to generate an OV-5 Activity Model Diagram or Diagrams from an existing OV-5 Node Tree Diagram. The upper most parent symbol will become the Context Diagram for the Activity Model and each subsequent diagram will be created and attached as a child to its appropriate parent symbol. The Operational Activity Symbols will be arranged in a diagonal going from left to right, top and bottom. The order of the symbols will be the order in which they appear on the Node Tree Diagram from left to right. This utility does not place ICOM Arrows it only creates the appropriate Operational Activity Symbols.
1 Click Tools > MODAF Utilities.
2 Click OV-5 Node Tree to OV-5 Activity Model.
3 Choose one or more of these diagrams from the list box.
4 Click Run.
5 Enter a name for each diagram that will be created, and then click OK.
Finished product will be an OV-5 Activity Model with Operational Activity Symbols and parent child relationships.
Note At least one Node Tree Diagram must be present in the Current Encyclopedia and that diagram must have at least one symbol on it.
