Building StV-5 Organisational Resource to Capability matrices
The StV-5 shows deployment of Capabilities to specific organisations. You can use the StV-5 Organisational Resource to Capability matrix to specify what Organisational Resources need or provide a particular Capability.
An StV-5 diagram should be employed as a summary of the delivery schedules for capabilities. As a best practice, do not overwhelm the diagram with capabilities and organisations.
1 Click View > Matrix Browser.
2 In the Matrix Browser, click the MODAF tab; then double-click StV-5 Organisational Resource to Capability.
This matrix is multidimensional, therefore all three StV-5 matrices load at once.
3 In the Matrix Filters dialog box, click OK.
4 In the matrix listing the Organisational Resources and the Capabilities in your architecture, click the StV-5 Organisational Resource to Capability matrix tab.
5 To specify what Organisational Resources need or provide a particular Capability, locate the box at the intersection of the Organisational Resource and the Capability that you want to add; then click the intersecting box.
“X” appears in the box. This adds an Organisational Resource to the Capability.

You can now view the Capability definition and see that the Organisational Resource has been added to its Organisational Mappings property.
