A System Technology Forecast is a detailed description of emerging technologies and specific hardware and software products. It contains predictions about the availability of emerging capabilities and about industry trends in specific timeframes (for example, 6-month, 12-month, 18-month intervals), and confidence factors for the predictions. The forecast includes potential technology impacts on current architectures, and thus influences the development of transition and objective architectures. The forecast is tailored to focus on technology areas that are related to the purpose for which a given architecture is being built, and identifies issues that will affect the architecture.
Access the System Technology Forecast (SV-9)
1 Click Reports > MODAF Reports.
2 Select the System Technology Forecast (SV-9) report.
3 Highlight the definition and select Run.
The SV-9 System Technology Forecast Report will appear as a Microsoft Word Document. You may view, print or save this report using standard Microsoft methods.
