Creating a model definition as you create an NOV-5 Context diagram for NAF 1.0
You can create an IDEF0 model definition as you create an OV-5 Context diagram, as an alternative to creating the model definition independently.
Prerequisite
Ensure that the IDEF0 diagram and definition set has been enabled for the encyclopedia. Click Tools, Customize Method Support, Encyclopedia Configuration to open the System Architect Property Configuration window and verify that IDEF0 and IDEF3 is selected.
You can create the model definition as you create an OV-5 Context diagram, or you can create the model definition independently, and then specify it when you create the OV-5 Context diagram.
To create a model definition as you create an OV-5 Context diagram
1 Click File > New Diagram; then double-click an OV-5 Activity Model from the Diagrams.
2 In the OV-5 Activity Model Diagram dialog box, under Diagram Type select Context diagram.
3 Specify a model name.
You can type in the name of an existing IDEF0 model that you have already created, or type in a new IDEF0 model name, thus creating that model definition.
