Drawing Services on NSOV diagrams for NAF 3
You can add services to your NSOV-1 and NSOV-2 diagrams.
1 Draw a class on the diagram, and specify a stereotype of «Service».
2 To center the class name and stereotype, perform the following steps:
Select the class symbol; then click Format > Symbol Format > Text Position.
In the dialog box, choose symbol name and text positioning.
3 To build a service hierarchy for NSOV-1 Service Taxonomy diagrams, draw Inherits From lines between classes.
4 To show association relationships between Services, draw Association lines between classes.
For example, you might draw an association line between a Service and an interface class on an NSOV-2 Service Interface Specification diagram.
5 To show which Service Functions support Services on an NSOV-5 diagram, draw Dependency lines from Service Functions to Services they support.
