Business Model Diagram
A model describing the rationale for how an enterprise creates, delivers, and captures value. On this diagram you may model the following concepts:
Business Motivation Model (BMM) elements:
Vision, implemented by Goals, implemented by Objectives.
Mission, implemented by Strategy, implemented by Tactics.
Course of Action: According to the Business Motivation Model (BMM), Course of Action is an informal term that is realized by Strategy and Tactic. In System Architect’s TOGAF 9.2 support, you use these two definitions – Strategy and Tactic – to specify a Course of Action.
Business Capability.
Value Stream.
Organization.
Function.
Actor.
Relationship Lines:
BMM Relates To: Used to relate Business Motivation Model (BMM) elements to other items in the TOGAF metamodel.
BMM Relates To By Hierarchy: Used to relate BMM elements in a hierarchy - for example Tactic implements (or is part of) Strategy, which implements (or is part of) Mission; Objective implements (or is part of) Goal, implements (or is part of) Vision.
Strategy/Tactic Influences: Used to relate Strategy and/or Tactic to other items in the TOGAF metamodel.
Note If Business Motivation Model (BMM) or FEAF 2 are turned on, the symbols and definitions for Strategy, Tactic, and so on.
