Integrating : Integrating with Focal Point® : Working with profiles : Creating a profile with optional criteria

Creating a profile with optional criteria
You can create a profile that does not include criteria to export. You may chose to do this when the data that you will export contains attributes that can be used as criteria. You can configure these integer type attributes (for example, Cost, Age, and so on) for auto prioritization in Focal Point®.
Prerequisite
A profile must be created: see Creating profiles.
Procedure
1 Click Create a new Focal Point profile. This leads you to the Focal Point® Workspace/View screen.
2 Select a Workspace.
3 In the Criteria View list, select None.
4 Select a data view.
5 Click Next.
The Report File Selection window is displayed. The Select Criteria Report File and the Select Criteria Report Name fields are disabled and display “No criteria view selected” in gray.
6 In the Select Data Report File field, click Browse and select the data report you created to gather the repository data. Report files that you create for the Focal Point® integration should be in the HTML format. System Architect validates the report format and warns you if it is not of the HTML type.
If the report is not of HTML format, then add the following in the report header that will make it HTML formatted:
SETTING { REPORTFORMAT 4 }
7 Click Next.
Since you selected “None” for the criteria option, the Criteria Mapping window is bypassed and the Data Mapping window is displayed.
8 To enable the Export or Save options, map System Architect properties to Focal Point® attributes (see step 10 in the “Creating profiles"). After you have mapped your data and exported your profile without criteria, you can configure the data attributes as criteria in Focal Point® as described in the section that follows.
