Use the Report Server Manager to select the encyclopedia and the report server protocol, to start or stop the System Architect REST Service and to generate a metamodel and flattened XML file of encyclopedia data.

To generate reports through the integration, tasks need to be done by different users who may have different roles. In general, the tasks, and the users who perform them are as follows: System Architect user generates a metamodel, and (optionally) encyclopedia data; IBM Rational Publishing Engine Studio user creates a template (or opens existing template) and uses Rational Publishing Engine Launcher to generate reports.
