Generating the reports across encyclopedias and workspaces
Before running the reports, ensure the REST Service is running. If it is not, in System Architect, click Reports > Report Server Manager, and click Start Service.
1 In the Document Specification pane, under the Data Sources pane, expand the Templates node and the Data sources* node.
2 Click the first REST Data source “Base URI”.
3 In the Properties pane, click the URI property and enter the URI for your Base Encyclopedia and workspace, which must be in the following format:
4 Click the second REST Data source “Target URI”, and in the Properties pane enter the URI for the Target encyclopedia or workspace.
5 Re-enter the base and target URIs again in the third and fourth REST Data Sources labeled “Base URI – repeated” and “Target URI – repeated” respectively.
6 The report output contains the following information:
▪list of applications that belong to both Base and Target, with their properties shown side-by-side. Properties that differ are highlighted in red and italics.
▪a list of the application definition names that belong to Base but not to Target.
▪a list of the application definition names that belong to Target but not to Base.
