The System Architect dialog from which you connect to the SAP Solution Manager provides two connection modes: Basic and Advanced. Initially, you must use Advanced to enter the fully-defined endpoint address for the RFCS and SHELLS web services. Once you connect successfully, you can use Basic for subsequent connections.

Before attempting to connect, contact your SAP Solution Manager Admin to obtain connection information to the web service on the server. It is possible that the web service endpoints are installed in a different directory structure and Port number as those used for development.
