Symbols on diagrams
On a System Architect diagram, a symbol that has a requirement linked to it is indicated by a purple arrowhead for outgoing or orange arrowhead for incoming, outside the symbol’s top left corner.
To show or hide this symbol, right-click the diagram workspace, and then click DOORS > Show DOORS Links for Symbols.
Incoming requirement link to symbol is denoted by orange, left-facing triangle.
Outgoing requirement link to symbol is denoted by purple, right-facing triangle.
Definitions represented by symbols on diagrams
On a System Architect diagram, a symbol that represents a definition that has a requirement linked to it is notated with an indicator (purple arrowhead for outgoing or orange arrowhead for incoming), outside the symbol's upper left corner. This is a different indicator than that provided for a symbol-requirement linkage, as described above.
To show or hide this indicator, right-click the diagram workspace, and then click DOORS > Show DOORS Links for Definitions.
Incoming requirement link to definition (that symbol represents) is denoted by orange, left-facing triangle
Outgoing Requirement Link to Definition (that Symbol Represents) Is Denoted by Purple, Right-Facing Triangle
