The default Report Definition file contains the pre-written or standard reports that come with the product. The first time you use the reports generator, the reports you see listed are the ones in the default file named REPORTS.RPT.

You can make changes to this Report Definition file, but we strongly suggest you make a copy of it first (see Copying the Report Definition file). You can save your copy of the Report Definition file with a new name in the default location or with the same or different name in a new location.
