All these files are either copied from the executable directory when a new encyclopedia is created, or created while you are doing work (creating diagrams, drawing and defining symbols, and so on). The encyclopedia contains:

▪a relational database, consisting of two tables – Entity (see Entity Table overview) and Relationship (see Relationship Table overview)

▪one file (.DGX) for each graphical diagram (see Graphical diagram files)

▪one metafile (.WMF) for each graphical diagram (see Graphical diagram files)

▪four files (SAPROPS.CFG, SAPROPS.BIN, SADECAR.CFG, and USRPROPS.TXT) that determine the configuration of that encyclopedia (see Configuration files overview)

▪one or more .STY format files (see Encyclopedia format files)
