A format file is an external file that resides in your current project’s encyclopedia path. It is named AUTOEXEC.STY. This format file contains all the characteristics for every symbol that may be drawn in a diagram, such as shape, color, font, line thickness, and so on. You can create your own styles and add them to this file or create a new format file and point to it through the .INI file.
