The Import Definitions command imports data dictionary entries from a text file. The file must contain just one type of dictionary entry, for example, data elements. If you need to import another type of dictionary entry, for example, data structures, create an additional file for these structures and import it separately.

Back up your encyclopedia prior to using this command.

Definitions can be imported using Comma‑separated value (CSV) files.
