The process of creating and modifying diagrams in System Architect involves drawing symbols and lines on the surface of the diagram you are working in. To initiate the drawing process, you have two choices. Either make a selection from the Draw Menu, or make a choice from the Draw toolbar.

Each diagram type has a different toolbar associated with it, specific to the types of symbols that can be drawn on that diagram. See Customizing toolbars to add other symbols.

In addition, there are many options that may be chosen at any time during a project to modify drawing behavior of the tool.
