Align requirements based on the business strategy
The business strategies might change and the attributes in the business needs might get updated or new attributes are added to the business needs. To align the requirement elaboration with the management changes, the user in Rational Requirements Composer must be able to check the updated business need details. This can be done by creating a field in Rational Requirements Composer that can be mapped with the specific attribute of the business need in Focal Point® and use the REST Client Put view command to update the values in Rational Requirements Composer.
Procedure
1 In Focal Point® identify the attributes that must be enabled for viewing in Rational Requirements Composer.
2 In Rational Requirements Composer, create the required fields that can be mapped with the Focal Point® attribute type. See Updating artifacts in the application by using Focal Point®.
