Lesson 2: Create users
All users must have individual user accounts to be able to log in. In this lesson, you create some users.
Prerequisite
To create a user, you must be a global administrator.

To create a new user
1 From the main menu, click User Profile (your user ID) > Administration.
2 In the Administration page, click the Users tab.
3 Click Add Users, and then enter thise information about the user:

Value
Prefix
Enter a prefix.
Full Name
Enter Veena Doe.
Information
Enter some information about the user.
My Views
Click Add link. In the My Views window, select the views in which the user is listed, and click OK.
Login Name
Enter Veena Doe.
 
This is the name that the user logs in with. This name must be unique.
Password
Enter password123.
Email
Click Edit, and then enter Veena’s email address.
User Type
Select an appropriate user type.
Permissions
Select the project areas in which the user has access permissions.
Authentication
Select an appropriate authentication type.
4 Click Save All.
5 Repeat steps 1 through 4 to add the following five users to the database.

The users you created are displayed in the list of users.
