Business rules definitions
These are some of the fields that can be used for setting the business rules.
 
Term
Explanation
Business Rule
An expression that calculates or manipulates the value of a target attribute based on the value or change of one or several source attributes. Target and source attributes can belong to the same or different elements.
Target Element
The element containing the business rule and the target attribute.
Source Element
The element containing the source attribute.
Container Attribute
An attribute of the type Text belonging to the target element, which contains the business rule expression.
Listener
A process that listens to changes in a source attribute and triggers the business rule to be evaluated again.

Displays a chart plug-in as the attribute value on an element.
Writes text to a Text attribute depending on the value in a Choice attribute.
Extends the options to configure the date format to a customized value.
Sets a Link attribute in an element after a matching attribute is found in another module.
Displays attributes from other modules or workspaces in an element by using links.
Performs mathematical functions such as sum, average, minimum, and maximum on a Date, Float or Integer attribute for the elements in a Link List or an Incoming Links attribute.
Calculates the sum of a Float or Integer attribute for elements that are in a Link, Link List, or Incoming Links attribute.
Calculates the sum of a Float or Integer attribute for the elements in a Link List or Incoming Links attribute that are displayed in a view.
Imports emails from a POP account.
Calculates the IRR by using the values in a matrix.
Calculates the net present value of a row in a matrix.
Displays attribute values for an element in linked elements without clicking the elements links.
Sets a Choice attribute to a specific item when the value of one or more other attributes change.
Shows a traffic light in red, green, yellow, or black depending on the value of an Integer or Float attribute.
Fetches the value from a URL or a Integration link attribute.
