Financial planning using time grid attribute
You can plan the financials of your product or products using the time grid attribute. For example, you can calculate costs and revenue for a business case. You can use the time grid attribute to do these actions:
adapt to any number of scenarios with the same or different time period
add, edit or delete time grid attributes as per your project plan
display a sheet in another time interval: monthly, quarterly or yearly
view the sum of all elements in a graph or table
view the sum of cell values for multiple elements
aggregate a time grid attribute using incoming links attribute
save content from one time grid sheet to another
export, import, print, and compare time grid sheets.
Each sheet in the time grid attribute is configured for a specific scenario, with a name, time interval (month, quarter, or year), start date, and end date. A time grid attribute can have multiple sheets, each with an individual time line and cell values.
For a project plan, you might have different parameters like Development cost, Licensing, Quantity, Support and Services, and Transactional cost. Each of these parameters represents a benefit, cost or variable stream. These parameters can be represented a rows in the time grid sheet and can be used for financial planning.
