To specify the estimates for elements according to a single criterion, seeSpecifying the estimates for elements according to a single criterion.

Specifying the estimates for elements according to a single criterion

1 On the Criteria page, add the required criterion.

2 Add the required elements; for example, the elements in the Elements module.

3 Add a view that contains the elements. Set the Prioritize and Visualize attributes to Yes.

4 Link the view to the criterion:

▪ In the View Manager module, select the view that you added.

▪ For the Criteria attribute, click the Edit icon.

▪ Select Specific Criterion, and then click Next.

▪ Select the criterion that you added, and then click OK.

5 Add a Float or Integer attribute to the module that contains the elements in the view.

6 Click Modules > Criteria, and then click the criterion.

7 For the Estimate attribute, click the Edit icon.

8 Click the module that contains the elements that are specified by the view.

9 Click the attribute that you added.

10 For each of the elements, set the value of the new attribute.

11 Click Visualize. The Visualize page opens; click the view that contains the elements. The estimates for the elements are displayed in a chart.

Note Give the criterion and the Float or Integer attribute the same name: Title.

Specifying the estimates for elements according to multiple criteria

1 On the Criteria page, add the required criteria.

2 Add a view that contains the criteria.

3 Add the required elements; for example, the elements in the Elements module.

4 Add a view that contains the elements.

5 Link the views to each other:

▪ Click the Settings icon

, and then, from the Configure group, click Views. Select the view that contains the elements.

▪ For the Criteria attribute, click the Edit icon.

▪ Select Criteria View, and then click Next.

▪ Select the view that contains the criteria, and click OK.

6 For each of the criteria:

▪ Add a Float or Integer attribute to the module that contains the elements that the view contains.

▪ Click Modules > Criteria.

▪ For the Estimate attribute, click the Edit icon.

▪ Click the module that contains the elements that are specified by the view.

▪ Click the attribute that you added and set the value of the new attribute for each of the elements.

7 Click Visualize. The Visualize page opens; click the view that contains the elements. The estimates for the elements are displayed in a chart.
