Lock
The lock attribute is a check box attribute.
When a lock attribute is set to Yes:
▪ You cannot edit any attributes that are set to Included in the Attributes window.
▪ You cannot delete the element.
Lock attribute settings
The lock attribute is a check box attribute that you can use to specify edit and delete permissions. If the lock value for an element is set to Yes, True, or Active, you cannot delete the element or edit any attributes in the module that the lock attribute affects.

You can configure the following settings:
▪ Default Value: The element to be locked by default
▪ Include Attributes: The attributes that must be locked

You can configure the following settings:
▪ Display Selected As: The text to display when the lock attribute is selected
▪ Display Cleared As: The text to display when the lock attribute is cleared
Confirm Dialog
You can configure the following settings:
▪ Display Dialog: If this check box is selected, a confirmation window opens each time the lock attribute is changed.
▪ Dialog Text Selected: The text to be displayed in the confirmation window that opens when the lock attribute is selected.
▪ Dialog Text Cleared: The text to be displayed in the confirmation window that opens when the lock attribute is cleared.
Change Log
You can configure the following setting:
▪ Log Changes: Records each change of the attribute value.
Copy Default Value To All Elements
Copies the default values of the attribute to all the elements in the module that contain the attribute. The previous values of this attribute are lost.
