URL
The URL attribute contains either a web link or an email address.The URL attribute value can start with any of these items:
http:// (for example, http://www.examplecompany.com)
mailto: (for example, mailto:info@examplecompany.com)
ftp://
news://
https://
\\Server\folder\file.txt (for example, Microsoft Windows)

A URL attribute is a link to a specific resource on the Internet.

You can configure the following setting:
Default value: The value for the attribute for a new element.
Static
You can configure the following settings:
Image: The value for the attribute for a new element.
Image size: The size of the image in pixels.
Mandatory
You can configure the following settings:
Mandatory: To make sure that you enter a value for this attribute, select this check box. Mandatory attributes are displayed with an asterisk.
Note Mandatory settings do not apply when you add folders.
Feedback Text: The text to display when no value is entered for the mandatory attribute
Confirm Dialog
You can configure the following settings:
Display Dialog: Displays a confirmation window opens each time the URL attribute is empty.
Dialog Text: The text to be displayed in the confirmation window that opens when the selected value for the URL attribute is empty

You can configure the following setting:
Log Changes: Records each change of the attribute value.
