Services

UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer uses the following services:

mrDPMServer3

Runs on Interviewing and Accessories servers and makes the Project Management objects available. The service is usually installed as:

[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\ProjectMgmt\DPMServerService.exe

mrUserAdminServer

Runs on Interviewing and Accessories servers, and interfaces with the User Administration activity in UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin. It also provides session management facilities. The service is usually installed as:

[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\ProjectMgmt\mrUserAdminService.exe

Setting a service to automatically restart after failure

You can configure a service to automatically restart after a service failure by completing the following steps:

1 Under Administrative Tools, double-click Services.

2 Locate and double-click the service name. The service properties are displayed.

3 From the Recovery tab, click the drop-down menu for First failure, and select Restart the Service.

4 Click Apply to apply the change.
