Improving Phone Participants activity performance
The CATIinterviewer.mdd file is frequently read when entering the Phone Participants activity. Performance can be improved by implementing the following CATIinterviewer.mdd cache settings in the system registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SPSS\mrInterview\3\InterviewCache.
QualificationDocCacheTimeout
Defines the cache expiration value (in seconds) that takes affect after the activity was last accessed. The default value is 300, which means the cache expires 300 seconds after the activity was last accessed.
CacheTimerInterval
Defines the interval (in seconds) in which to check for an expired cache. The default value is 60, which means the cache is checked every 60 seconds.
