Sample Management tab (web only)
Use the Sample Management tab to specify whether the test should use sample management and, if so, where it should look for sample management information. The default is not to use sample management.
Use sample management
Select this option if you want to use sample management in this test. Selecting this option activates the other fields.
Server name
The name of the SQL Server that holds the sample data.
Database name
The name of the sample management database.
Table name
The name of the sample table.
Filter
A filter that specifies how the test is to select sample records. The default is Queue='FRESH' which selects records from the FRESH queue. To select records from a different queue, update the string in the text box. You must enclose the queue name in single quotation marks because it is a text value.
If you want to test restarting from sample management, first run a load test using Queue='FRESH', where the respondent parameters will allow some interviews to be abandoned. Then run a second test with Queue='TIMEDOUT'.
If the test creates dummy sample records via parameters on the interview URL, the Queue filter is redundant and is not applied.
Authentication
If Use sample management is selected, this box lists the fields in the sample records and shows which ones are used for authentication. You may change the fields that are used for authentication, but be aware that changes that do not provide the sample management script with the information it needs for authentication will cause all records to fail authentication and no interviews will take place.
