This section provides full details of the table specification syntax. In most cases, you can create tables without needing to understand the syntax, but for particularly complex tables, or to create tables containing elements that are not available in the user interface, you can enter or edit the syntax directly, either in the Advanced view of the Define tab, or in the of the Script tab New Variable, Edit Variable, or Edit Axis dialogs.
