Deleting categories
You can delete a category from a variable so that it does not appear in tables. See
Removing categories from a table for further information about this and other methods of removing categories from your tables.
Deleting a category from a variable for all tables
1 Select the Define tab.
2 In the Variable List, select the variable you want to change.
3 From the menu, choose Variables > Edit.
This opens the Edit Variable dialog box: see

4 Select the category you want to delete.
From the menu above the list of items, choose Delete.
5 Click OK.
Delete a category from a variable for the current table
1 In the Table List, select the required table.
2 Select the Define tab.
3 In the Table Definition section, select the variable that you want to change.
4 Click the Edit Axis icon on the Table Definition toolbar.
This opens the Edit Axis dialog box: see

5 Select the category you want to delete.
From the menu above the list of items, choose Delete.
6 Click OK.
