Users
The Users worksheet contains the users to be added to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin.
The worksheet must contain a column called UserName that names the users you want to add. It can also contain Description, Password, Roles, MustChangePasswordAtNextLogin, Action, and Position columns.
Description
The maximum length of Description is 250 characters.
If you import an existing user, the description in the spreadsheet overwrites the existing one in the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin database.
Password
Roles
The Roles column lists the roles of which each user is a member. If the user is a member of more than one role, separate the names with semicolons.
If you import an existing user, the user is added to these roles if they are not already a member; for example, specifying the Manager2 role for a user who is already a member of the Manager1 role makes that user a member of both roles. Leaving the role column blank does not remove the user from the roles to which they currently belongs: you must do this manually.
MustChangePasswordAtNextLogin
The MustChangePasswordAtNextLogin column controls whether imported users must change their passwords at the next login (True or False).
Set MustChangePasswordAtNextLogin column to True for newly imported users or when the password is reset by the administrator.
Password definitions apply only to new accounts that are created by the import process. Passwords are never changed or removed for existing users even if the password column contains a value. However, when MustChangePasswordAtNextLogin is set to True for existing users in the Excel spreadsheet, those users must change their passwords the next time they login. Typically users cannot change their password unless they have administrator authority; when MustChangePasswordAtNextLogin is set to True, users can change their password regardless of administrator status. By default, all imported users are required to change their passwords at next login.
The default value for MustChangePasswordAtNextLogin is False.
Action
The Action column has the following options:
▪Disable/D (disable a user)
▪Remove/R (remove a user)
▪Add/A (add a user)
If the Action is D or R, the only other field required is UserName.
If the Action column is not defined in the spreadsheet, the user records are processed as normal. This means that when the user exists in user database, the user description, password, and role assignment are updated. Otherwise, the user is added to the user database.
Position
The Position column indicates the interviewer’s position in the telephone room (seat number, for instance).
The Position column is required when using the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Load Tool Logins interface.
