Files, folders, and shortcuts
The UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer installation procedure creates a number of new files, folders, and shortcuts.
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer Folder
The main location for the files and programs that make up UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer. See UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer folder.
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin Folder
The main location for the files and programs that make up UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin. Most of the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer activities run inside UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin.
Common Components folder
The installation procedure also installs files in the standard Common Components folder. See Common components folder.
Logging folder
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer and other UNICOM Intelligence applications write log files to the following folder:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Interviewer Server Administration\Logs

Accessories folder
The UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer installation program installs the current version of the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model if it is not already installed. Besides providing the basic components that allow data to be stored and managed, the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model also provides a number of basic tools for viewing and manipulating data. These tools are in [INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\<version>\Accessories and none of them are used directly by UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer.
MDM2Quantum.exe
Adds card-column information into metadata (.mdd) files. After adding card-column information, you can export basic Quantum spec files. See Metadata Model to Quantum for more information.
MDMLabelManager.exe
Configures the contexts, label types, and language properties of .mdd files for use with Translation Utility and other applications such as the Questionnaire Viewer. See MDM Label Manager for more information.
MDMLabelManager.exe.config
Configuration file for initializing MDMLabelManager.exe.
MDMVersionUtility.exe
Merges multiple versions of the metadata into a single version. See Metadata Model Version Utility for more information.
mrDtsRun.exe
The DTS Package Runner used to import and export data. You use it to run your DTS packages from a command line. DTS Package Runner can run DTS packages that have been saved using the SQL Server or structured storage file options only.
mrDtsRun is only available in x86 32-bit installations. x64 64-bit DTS packages can only run in x86 32-bit mode.
mrScriptCL.exe
A program for running mrScriptBasic (.mrs) programs. Scriptwriters might use it to run the following scripts:
Convert.mrs
Updates Quancept-style page templates into UNICOM Intelligence format.
FlagInterviewsForTransfer.mrs
Flags data held in the value cache for transfer into the case data database. See Flagging files for transfer from the value cache.
ReadProjectAttributes.mrs
Lists project properties for all projects in DPM. See Finding old projects.

Displays and prints question and answer text from the metadata. See Questionnaire Viewer for more information.
mdd.xslt
Helper file for QuestionnaireViewer.exe.
WordCapture.exe (and AxInterop.SHDocVw.dll, Interop.SHDocVw.dll, and Interop.Word.dll)
A program for converting questionnaires created in Microsoft Word into Questionnaire Definition (.mdd) documents.

User documentation for the UNICOM Intelligence WordCapture program.
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin Web Pages
The default location for UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin Web pages is C:\InetPub\wwwroot\SPSSMR\, but this can be changed as part of the installation procedure.
Global assembly cache
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer copies assemblies and interops from some of other folders into the global assembly cache (GAC) in c:\WINDOWS\assembly.
