Known issues
Microsoft Active X
Personal interviewing uses a Microsoft ActiveX control when interacting with the location sensor. This might result in the Interviewer seeing the following Windows Security Warning message:
An Active X control on this page might be unsafe to interact
with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?
To avoid the warning, do one of the following:
In Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Custom level, and then enable Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting.
In the registry, set this value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0
(That is, change the default value of 1201 to 0.)
You might need to close all web browser instances to make this change take effect.
